Joanna Stępień

Managing Director

Joanna is a graduate of the Faculty of Finance and Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics. She also holds a license of a tax advisor issued by the Minister of Finance. She gained her professional experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers and was also closely associated with the financial and real estate industry.

In Orange Polska S.A. Joanna has been working since 2009, at first as a Manager of Regulatory Reporting Section, since early 2016 as Director of Settlement & Billing Systems in the Wholesale Domain of Orange Polska SA. In her current position Joanna is responsible for management of settlement process between Orange Polska S.A. and the telecommunication companies – international and domestic (billing, invoicing, accounting, disputes, payments, collection negotiations, credit management, revenue & cost assurance), customer-care activities, cooperation with other organizational units within the company, working in complex project teams, undertaking improvement initiatives in the field of settlement process.

Joanna is a result – oriented manager. Strongly focused on process quality, efficiency and business targets. Always friendly to everyone who needs support. Does not leave questions unanswered even if they are beyond the scope of her activities. Looking for new solutions, sharing ideas, and in communication with others always analyses and respects the arguments of the other party.

Her biggest interests are leadership development, management in complex and highly matrixed internal structures as well as highly regulated and competitive external environments , people engagement and coaching.

She is a happy mother of  Oliver and Helena. She likes to spend her free time with the family. Joanna loves traveling, especially visiting exotic corners of the world and good cuisine (especially Thai and Italian).
