Mark Dekan

Mark Dekan in his role as CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG is responsible for the Central Eastern European Joint Venture between Axel Springer and Ringier, the biggest digital media company in CEE. In addition, he holds the position of CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Polska, managing one of the largest media groups in the region. Before his appointment as CEO of Ringier Axel Springer Media AG in 2013, Mark Dekan was as the CFO responsible for the establishment and management of the finance function of the Group. Mark Dekan has extensive experience in the media business, including the traditional and digital parts of media, as well as in the management of large and diverse organisations. His experience comes from international and local markets, where he worked on leadership positions in Management Boards and Supervisory Boards.
