Jonathan Sweeting

General Manager, GSK Poland

Jonathan Sweeting MA, MBA is a 1^st class graduate of Cambridge University in the UK (Natural Sciences/ Chemistry, 1998) and holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD Business School in France (2004).

He joined GSK in 2013 as Vice President, Medicine Commercialisation Leader in the global respiratory business in London latterly leading the global launch of new biological treatment in Severe Asthma and GSK Poland as General Manager in December 2016. Prior to this, he spent 8.5 years working for AstraZeneca in the UK, Russian and global businesses with commercial responsibilities of increasing scale across a range of therapy areas including Cardiovascular, Diabetes, Oncology and Neuroscience. He also has significant experience working with R&D teams on new medicine development.

Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, he spent 5 years working in Management Consulting with Accenture across a range of industry sectors from Communications & High Tech to Financial Services and FMCG.
