Barbara Sobala

Barbara Sobala objęła stanowisko Wiceprezesa Zarządu Banku Handlowego w Warszawie S.A. 15 października 2013 r. Do Banku Handlowego dołączyła w 2005 r. jako szef IRM. W latach 2012-2015 była szefową ds. Ryzyka w banku instytucjonalnym i korporacyjnym. Jest Przewodniczącą Komitetu ds. Zarządzania Ryzykiem i Kapitałem, Wiceprzewodniczącą Komitetu Inwestycji Kapitałowych oraz członkiem Komitetu Zarządzania Aktywami i Pasywami (ALCO), Przewodniczącą Komitetu ds. Nowych Produktów oraz Przewodniczącą Komitetu ds. Etyki w Banku. Przed dołączeniem do zespołu Banku Handlowego pracowała przez 13 lat w Banku BPH, gdzie pełniła różne funkcje, w tym Szefa Departamentu Restrukturyzacji. Była także członkiem Komitetu Kredytowego Banku. Barbara jest członkiem wielu organizacji przedsiębiorców, w tym wspierających kobiety w biznesie. W marcu 2018 r. Barbara otrzymała nagrodę „Lider w korporacji” przyznawaną przez polską fundację kobiecą „Sukces pisany szminką”.

Ms. Barbara Sobala assumed the position of Vice President of the Management Board of Bank Handlowy w Warszawie S.A. on October 15, 2013. She joined Bank Handlowy in 2005 as Head of IRM. In years 2012-2015 she was the Head of Risk for the Institutional and Corporate Bank. She is the Chairperson of the Risk and Capital Management Committee, Vice Chairperson of the Equity Investments Committee and a member of the Assets and Liabilities Management Committee (ALCO), Chairperson of the New Products’ Committee and the Chairperson of the Etihics Committee in the Bank. Before joining Bank Handlowy’s team, she served 13 years for Bank BPH where she held various roles including Head of the Restructuring Department Head. She was also a member of the Bank’s Credit Committee. Barbara is a member of several  entrepreneurs organizations including those supporting women in business. In March 2018 Barbara was awarded with „the Leader in the corporation” prize by the Polish women foundation called “Success written by a lipstick”.
