Magdalena Grzęda holds a master’s degree from Academy of Finance in Warsaw, Finance and Banking faculty, and completed postgraduate studies at Kozminski University, Financial Analyst of Credit Risk Program.
She has over 20 years’ experience in banking, mainly in credit risk. Her qualifications cover a wide range of skills related to underwriting process of mortgage loans for private individuals including credit analysis, mortgage valuation and legal aspects related to such collateral. Over last 10 years – team manager responsible for ca. 20 analysts, in addition responsible for process management, creating policies, internal bank regulations, functional control and portfolio quality. She has individual authority for mortgage loan decisions and participated in numbers of professional and leadership trainings.
Her experience in projects includes integration of Bank BPH and GE Money Bank where she was in charge of credit decisions for private individuals. In 2011 she introduced a new mortgage underwriting process (Multiskill Analyst Project) based on merger of three separated aspects of analysis (financial, legal, data entry) into one. This change has significantly improved efficiency of credit process. Currently she participates in Bank demerger project with reference to Alior Bank acquisition.
Privately she is a mother of two children aged 13 and 8 trying actively spend her free time.
