Business Controller Medical Devices for Johnson & Johnson’s Medical Devices, covering Central and Eastern Europe with ~$250MM revenue level, P&L responsibility.
Joanna has been in her current position as of January 2015. She manages cross-country business controlling team focused on driving P&L results, partnering to CEE commercial board, implementation of new global systems and standards in financial planning & analytics area. She joined Johnson & Johnson family of companies after graduation and over last twelve years she performed several roles in Finance and different businesses within the J&J group, expanding her experiences and scope of responsibilities.
The experiences gained during various job assignments range from strictly financial areas like management reporting, US GAPP/ IFRS accounting, internal auditing, currency exposure management to Business Intelligence models and systems implementations, building cross-country teams, managing transition of non-core functions to global centers of excellence, cross-function project management within Emerging Markets.
In 2013 Joanna received “Shape, Connect and Deliver Leadership Award” from Emerging Markets board for preparation of market, financial assessments and models for new business launch in Emerging Markets.
Joanna is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics with M.S. in International Financial Management. She holds also professional certifications – Certified Management Accountant from The Institute of Management Accountants, USA and Six Sigma Green Belt from J&J EMEA.
